I'm here in California and still haven't decided how to vote on Prop. 19.
While I do understand the tax benefits, there's a lot of start up costs for enforcement.
My main concern is that there's no "brethalizer" test for pot. There is such a thing as driving too stoned, and those drivers are dangerous.
What are your thoughts?
if youre driving too stoned its probably obvious with red eyes and such. theres no breathalyzer for prescription drugs but its super dangerous to drive on oxycodone....
ReplyDeletelegal=win
Go for it. It's about time they legal;ize everything and let people choose how to use it.
ReplyDeleteEvery now and then i get the urge to buy codeine or some kind of legal heroin and have a day by myself to relax on Opiates.
Which brings up a further Question will you be able to buy it like smokes and alcohol or will it be available as a pharmaceutical?
I don't really think cannabis should be legal. "Cannabis is not as dangerous as heroin!" Well, debating like that, you could very well say; "Handguns should be legal because they are not as dangerous as machine guns." Well, they're still bad!
ReplyDeleteThat would create a bunch of tax revenue though
ReplyDeleteCool story.
ReplyDeleteWell no mater how much youve been driving or smoking, its never a good idea to mix the two.
ReplyDelete..but shit, legalize it! D:
I agree on the tax revenue part for sure
ReplyDeleteI would vote if I could but Im in the UK. I hope for your sakes this does go through, and maybe in 20 years the UK government might consider something along those lines..
ReplyDeleteNice info!
ReplyDeleteThere is absolutely no reason for it to be illegal.
ReplyDeleteStoned drivers aren't dangerous. Studies show they only drive slower and more carefully.
